Do I need a visa for TONGA?
Visitors to Tonga must obtain a visa unless they are citizens from one of the visa-exempt countries or citizens who may obtain a free visa on arrival. Visa applications must be sent to the Principal Immigration Officer in Nuku’alofa. All visitors must have a passport valid for at least 6 months.

3. Visa-Free Bilateral Agreements
European Union: Mutual visa-waiver signed 20 November 2015, ratified 8 June 2016. Allows EU/Schengen citizens up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
China: Mutual visa-waiver signed 9 June 2016. Allows 30 days without a visa.
Israel: Mutual visa-waiver in force since April 2017.
United Arab Emirates: MoU signed April 2018, entered into force 24 May 2018. All types of UAE passports — up to 60 days.
4. Free Visa on Arrival
Citizens from the following countries and territories may obtain a free visa on arrival (valid for 31 days, extendable up to 6 months):
