Do I need a visa for SAUDI ARABIA?
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the largest country in the Middle East and home to Islam’s two holiest cities: Mecca and Medina. Saudi Arabia has significantly liberalised its visa policy since 2019, introducing tourist e-Visas and visa on arrival for approximately 60 countries. The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) manages immigration. Non-Muslims are prohibited from entering the holy cities of Mecca and Medina, and all female travellers must observe local modesty standards.
2. Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Freedom of Movement
Citizens of all six GCC member states enjoy full freedom of movement within Saudi Arabia and may enter using their national identity card rather than a passport.
